Why get a web site? * Sales * Information dissemination According to the Yankee Group, online retail sales are expected to grow from $11.5 billion in 1998 to $125.6 billion in 2003. Are you getting your piece of this pie? More and more, individuals and business are looking to the Web for purchasing products and services. And they do it because it's convenient. A domain name is a way to identify and locate computers and resources connected to the Internet. No two organizations can have the same domain name. The meta description tag describes your site's content, giving search engines' spiders an accurate summary filled with multiple keywords. Note: Meta tags are hidden in a document's source, invisible to the reader. Some search engines, however, are able to incorporate the content of meta tags into their algorithms. No engines penalize sites that use meta tags properly, so it's recommended that you always include them.
The process can be broken into 3 stages. 1) Choose a domain name - Find a name that will best describe your website. This name (what we call a domain name) is how people will find you when they go onto the world wide web. Once you have found the right name for your website and you are sure it is available to purchase (actually lease is a better term since you pay for the rights to the name ever year) then you need to go to your favorite domain name registrar (available on this website) and secure the name so others cannot use it. 1 In 7 Design (like most companies) will do both stages 1 and 2 for you.
IMAP stands for Internet Message Access Protocol. It allows one email account to be accessed from multiple computers, such as a work PC, a home PC, and a laptop. Email is left on the mail server, even after it has been viewed or deleted. To remove email from the server, it must be manually purged.

Spam - Self Help Spamming (as related to searchengines) is forcing unsolicited or unwanted web pages into a search engine's database. People that have learned how spiders work, also learned how to fool them. Although your site may be of high-quality content, if you use any of behaviors defined as spamming, it can be blacklisted.
